Foot wear
Footwear is divided into some group products such as:
- Sport shoes made of rubber, plastic, and textile (HS 6402, 6403, 6404)
- Non sport shoes made of leather; and casual shoes (HS 6403, 6405)
- Non sport shoes other than leather, like technical shoes; and parts of shoes (HS 6401,6402,6406)
- Sandals (HS 6401)
Production
Today, Indonesia has more than 1,700 companies which produce footwear. About 60% of them are producing sport shoes and others non sport shoes. From the total value of Indonesian export footwear, 70% of them are sport shoes and 30% casual shoes. The companies of footwear can be found in the following provinces:
- West Java
- East Java
- Central of Java
- DKI Jakarta
- Yogyakarta
- Banten
- Riau
- North Sumatera
